Banking Consultant Graeme Reid has over 30 years experience in credit and finance. He worked in senior management Trust Bank, Westpac prior to establishing a banking consultancy in 1998.
Graeme has significant experience in all facets of banking, credit and finance at management, technical and at a hands-on level. He is well known and respected as an insolvency expert, credit recovery specialist and problem loan negotiator.

Valuable Experience - Positions he held while at Trust Bank and Westpac include various senior management roles such as Head of Credit, Personal Assistant to the Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Secretary to the Board of Directors and numerous other roles. He also headed a project team to establish the then Trust Bank well known ATM service 'Cashflow'.
After resigning from Westpac in 1998, Graeme established New Zealand's only bank franchise (for TSB Bank Ltd), which he sold to TSB Bank in late 2007 to concentrate on his consultancy business.
Graeme holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Studies and was a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. |

Independent Consulting - Graeme has undertaken a wide range of consulting work including being an Expert Opinion Witness for a number of solicitors and barristers leading to litigation against finance companies and banks. He has also been consultant in the Receiverships of finance companies (engaged by Receivers at Price Waterhouse Coopers), and for due diligences on loan books.
In 2002 he was appointed by World Bank to develop and implement a new credit policy for State Bank of Vietnam's, Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (VBARD). |
